I have been specifying, programming and installing Crestron systems since the early 2000’s. Crestron has always been my go to control system because of the reliability of their products. I have had many projects that have lasted over 15 years. The one stumbling block with Crestron has been the price of implementation which has always taken a high level programmer and many days/weeks to program systems.
Implementation
Crestron Home OS3 has changed the game, the new platform is programmed using an iPad and literally take minutes to program systems that used to take days.
Experience
The responsiveness of the interface is what sets it apart. I have used many systems over the years and the Crestron Home OS3 platform feels different and faster than anything I have seen. The intuitive design feels like every button is placed exactly where it should be.
Ease of use
I have always had a litmus test when it comes to my interfaces designs. Could my client control the whole house system without any instructions from me. Crestron Home OS3 passes this test with flying colors.
